Direct Payments are cash payments made by a Local Authority to an individual or their representative, to allow them to arrange and purchase the care, support, activities and equipment they require to enhance their life and maintain their independence.

You can use Direct Payments to purchase support, equipment, activities, or care to meet your assessed social care needs.
People use Direct Payments in many different ways depending on their personal circumstances and preferences.
The benefits of Direct payments are increased choice, control and flexibility and although at first this may seem daunting, Go Direct are here to give you all the support and advice you need.
